The Generals defeated the Chantilly Chargers in a rain-delayed Saturday Regional Championship game, triumphing 4-0 to advance to the Regional Quarterfinals on Monday the 14th against Wakefield.  

Emilie Doty threw a complete game 2-hitter with 10 strikeouts.  The Generals played error-free softball on defense, with particularly outstanding plays by third baseman Caitlin Miller, shortstop Bridget Bartz, and catcher Ava Lansbury, The offense was led by Grace Kane with two doubles, and hits by Bridget, Alex Socknat, and Riley England.  Allie Malone had a key RBI SAC bunt.

Emilie Doty -- 1st team All-District, 1st team All-Region (Pitcher); Allie Malone -- 1st team All-District (Outfield); Riley England -- 1st team All-District, 2nd team All-Region (DP/Flex); Bridget Bartz -- 2nd team All-District (Shortstop); Caitlin Miller -- 2nd team All-District (Third Base); Ava Lansbury -- All-District Honorable Mention (Catcher).  

She's done it again!  After winning Liberty District Pitcher-of-the-Year, with the lowest ERA in the district, junior Emilie Doty was voted FIRST TEAM ALL REGION PITCHER for the Northern Region!  Oh, and she had the highest batting average on the team at .514 as well!
